Grandma's Beef Patties

1 lb ground beef
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
dash of pepper
small chopped onion
1 small can evaporated milk (use just enough to mix)

Combine and shape into patties. Brown.

1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 can of water

Combine. Pour over patties and simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.
